Q. Is your work guaranteed?
A. Yes. Objections must be made valid as far as they concern obvious
lack within 14 days after reception.

Q. Will my original photograph be safe?
A. Your original photographs will be scanned and afterwards saved.
You will receive in addition to the processed
digitally photographs also the scanned original
on CD.

Q. Do you work only with original photographs?
A. No. We can work with all bidimensional media (negatives, slides,
or any kind of prints). Digital Prints are
depending however from your printer quality.

Q. Which sizes can you print?
A. All sizes up to A3 (29.7cm x 42cm). Check up first the costs
for the special dimensions. Other arbitrary formats
can be realized and/or ordered on request.

Q. Can you enlarge small photos or details
from?
A. Yes. However extreme enlargements can uncover defects which are
not noticeable on the originals.
We will inform you, if enlargement
should lead or not to acceptable results.

Q. Can you also replace missing parts?
A. Yes. If the missing part is an extension of existing parts of
your photograph, for example: textures, walls,
grass, hair, it could be done. Complicated
areas can be also replaced, only if are used same parts from
other similar works, where the missing detail
is present.

Q. How large my image files may be?
A. We do not have a firm restriction of size. Please make sure that
your image file is no larger that 1.2 MB.
However if necessary you can compress your
image files as ZIP files.

Q. What is JPEG?
A. JPEG is a popular compression standard for motionless pictures
of the "Joint Photographic Experts Group".
The principle of the compression in the
JPEG procedure is based on the fact that very similar tint values,
which can be compressed, are equated. JPEG
graphics have a depth of shade of up to 24 bits; this corresponds
to 16.7 million colours. Compression rates
from 10:1 to 20:1 lead to a hardly perceptible data and thus quality
loss, whereas the involving heavy losses
compression in the ratio 100:1 entails an obviously worse image
quality.

Q. What are ZIP files?
A. Zip is a format, which is used very frequently for compressing
files. Zip files are thus files in the Zip format.
You can recognize it when file ending in
*.zip. To be able to convert into the Zip format is needed special
program such as WinZip.

Q. How long does it last the transmission
of the photographs?
A. The upload time is naturally dependent on the file size, the
number of your pictures and the connection of your
computer to the Internet. The transmission
of 1 megabyte of a large image file lasts depending upon the kind
of
